Raquel joined Smith Young in June 2025 and is based in London.

She brings over 18 years of experience in retail leasing, having held senior roles at CBRE, JLL and P-Three. Throughout her career, Raquel has worked on many of the UK’s leading regional shopping centres and advised on various UK regeneration projects. More recently she has advised on several of London’s most high-profile estates and high streets.

Her extensive background has given her a strong understanding of brands, consumer behaviour and the dynamics required to curate and deliver best-in-class retail destinations.

In London, she has advised on prominent assets including Regent Street, King's Road, Sloane Street, Westfield London, Westfield Stratford City and Angel Central. Her national experience spans major assets such as Lakeside, Bluewater, St James Quarter (Edinburgh) and Bond Street, Chelmsford. Raquel also played a key role in major development leasing projects on behalf of Landsec, including Westgate Oxford and Trinity Leeds.

Originally from the south coast, Raquel enjoys all things seaside, discovering new places (ideally with a bit of retail therapy involved), and doing her best to keep pace with her energetic children.
